Jeel Oza joined Ropes & Gray's litigation & enforcement practice group in the Washington D.C. office in 2021, bringing a unique blend of academic excellence and commitment to public service.
Her practice encompasses government investigations, civil litigation, and antitrust matters. She regularly advises clients on litigation and compliance risk and conducts pre-acquisition due diligence in M&A transactions across multiple sectors, with particular expertise in healthcare, technology, and financial services.
Jeel's experience includes representing clients in complex matters before the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, and Federal Trade Commission. She has managed cross-border investigations, defended companies in multi-state litigation, and provided strategic counsel on challenging regulatory issues.
Beyond her corporate practice, Jeel maintains an active pro bono practice, including advising transgender individuals on name and gender identification change processes in various jurisdictions, reflecting her deep commitment to access to justice.
